San Marino is just lovely at the moment – even the perpetually boggy bits are pretty much dry.

Chapaking – I’m over in Horwich, so more than happy to meet up some time and show you around. Drop me a mail (in my profile) if you like.

Simmy – I seem to be unable to link to Streetmap, but it’s directly north of Winter Hill, accessible from north (from Brinscall/Withnell), south from the top of the Belmont-Rivington road, east from Tockholes, or west from White Coppice. The best descent is west, down to White Coppice, but getting up there is the snag. In anything other than drought conditions, it is really, really wet up there, so its one of those that should only be ridden with a bit of respect. I ran over it today, and reckoned it was ok to ride. Drop me a mail for more details.
