Good point—it’s only 134 days till Christmas and I’ve got them on a low simmer! I’ve turned the gas up now—got a nice ‘champagne boil’ going. A brassica has no business being crunchy

You’ll boil all the goodness out of them…

You have to show them who’s boss by boiling them into submission—nothing worse than an insolent sprout

Coyote, that’s exactly what I was for saying.

We had solid wall insulation affixed to our house at the start of May. The heating could have seized up for all I know.

Actually looking forward to some cold nights to see if the house needs less heating. 🙂

The Wife meanwhile, is looking forward to seeing if she can actually get the place past the 30c mark. 😕
