  • will hope v2 calipers work on superstar floating rotors

    Hi I got a got deal on a rear x2 and also a v2 front which has a v2 vented rotor @203 bit would rather stick to my 180 superstars …will the v2 work or do I really need to buy a v2 180 rotor.
    Any opinions welcome

    The V2’s use/need a deeper braking surface rotor so I don’t think the Superstar one will work.

    Would it cause a problem if I used so avid cup and cones to set it back a little or is that out the question

    The rotor track on the V2 is physically deeper, use a standard rotor and the pads will come into contact with the “arms” of the rotor. The avid cup and cone won’t help that.
