As the Wii-U isn’t selling very well, a lot of publishers aren’t supporting it. For example, EA released a few Wii-U titles (Need for Speed, Mass Effect, Madden, FIFA), but because they sold so poorly they stopped any further Wii-U development.
However, it is backwards compatible with Wii discs, and you can also download Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, Neo Geo and Sega Master System games from the virtual console store, so there’s still plenty of games available.Posted 4 years agoLMTMember
It’s got some big titles this Christmas which will spurn sales, and Nintendo always sell big there own stuff, mario kart is coming and a new mario bro’s, it’s still over priced compared to others and won’t run frostbite which is why ea pulled the plug, they did say they have something in the mix for wii u, time will tellPosted 4 years ago
All I can say is that with daughter number 1 on crutches with a busted knee, the Wii is presently worth it’s weight in gold! There’s some serious Mariokart action going on this afternoon!
Could I also thank whoever recommended Wabbids Go Home on a previous Wii thread! It’s brilliant!!!!Posted 4 years ago
Drp… so long as they comment from experience of actually having kids it’d be ok 😆
iolo head out of @$$ time. … as I said there is the usability for the rest of family as well as minivader hence the question of if it would be a good system for a 5year old (me and mrs vader will also use).
Anyone with kids no matter what age may have a use for a games system. We use the wii as a family, and the 360conect as well as take long healthy walks in the countryside, play sports and oh and we all eat our 5 a day…. 🙄
And before you flame me for the “anyone with kids” comments my sister is unable to have kids too, but she adopted…

I was once a child and have been a gamer since I was three (Spectrum ZX 48k, thanks dad!). I have loads of awesome memories of playing computer and console games with my friends and family, also loved doing art, reading, running around in the woods and building dens.
I’m now a well rounded, happily married individual who can argue on t’internet just like a person deprived of digital gaming delights in their childhood! \o/Posted 4 years ago
