Depends. I’ve a pair of Fox Unions which are good, and come with insole inserts. Previously wore out a pair of Spesh 2FOs. Both fine for walking about in?

I think someone was recommending some 5tens for this kind of use but I’d have to have a look around for what they were.

Giro ventana are pretty good to walk in. They do even more shoe like models to. But the ventanas are really comfy on the bike too. Feel pretty wide, or at least not narrow.

sorry for my abrupt post earlier. the forum was not playing.

i want wide flat soled shoes if possible. dont want mtb type rugged soles,as i rarely ride offroad nowadays on anything rougher than medium grade gravel.

    lace ups would be nice.

something like this would be nice.

Last few tours I have done (short) I’ve used trail shoes and flats and I prefer them.

Apologies for a non answer 🥴

I’ve always liked the idea of these, but they’re never reduced enough for me to take a punt on how good they actually are for cycling in:

Potentially ideal for daytime cycling/evening pub dinner without looking “like a cyclist”. Although personal preference on whether you’d consider a pair of Adidas trainers a desirable look obviously!
