I brought the bike with me to Sydney as a winter bike but it seems no-one here rides when it’s raining, they just wait for it to stop. I’m thinking I’ll fit wider tyres and take it off-road. There is plenty of clearance around 28mm tyres, even more if I take off the mudguards and it’s not like there’s going to be any mud.

I know there are a few other owners on here… has anyone fitted wider tyres? What have you squeezed in with/without mudguards? Or recommendations for on/off-road tyres?

You’ll get 32’s in there without guards fitted, though clearance will start to get tight if you fit anything with tread.

It’s tyres with a very shallow tread I’m looking at, not full-on cx tyres so I’ll give it a try with 32s. Cheers
