Has anybody tried to get a Whyte 146 on a Thule 591? It doesn’t look like it’ll fit.

If not what bike rack for roof bars do you use?

    Thanks

It won’t fit, I use a Thule 532 Freeride but you have to take the front wheel off.

    Thanks. That’s what I thought.

    Hi,

I’ve owned a Whyte 146 for 12 months and travelled the length and breadth of the country using a Thule 591 (incl. 70 mph on the motorway in high winds). I put the ‘claw’ at the end of the Thule arm into the triangular opening above the bottom bracket / bottom of the seat tube. I find it to be very secure and is tried and tested. The only thing to watch out for is that the bike is ever so slightly longer than ideal so you have to slide the front wheel strap to the very end.
