La Vuelta a España means either the return to Spain or the tour at Spain in my book. Why isn’t it DE España meaning of Spain?

IIRC it’s a French race in Yorkshire, run by ASO?

Surely it should be Tour ‘Yorkshire, if it’s always in the native tongue?

Tour o’ Yorkshire surely (a very short “o” by the way)?

Dar la vuelta al mundo = go around the world

La Tierra da una vuelta al sol.

    Etc..

And, the preposition a/al goes with vuelta, so it’s Vuelta a Gran Bretaña, vuelta al País Vasco, but Giro de Italia, Tour de Francia, Tour de Yorkshire
