i don’t post as much as i used to, to many threads turn into a bitchfest.

there’s a lot of good people on here and only a few cocks! but they seem to post a lot! maybe they crave the attention?
tj is very opinionated/passionate (i don’t always agree) but never comes across as rude or abusive. (stubborn tho 😀 ) if more people behaved like him we could have some great discussions/arguments without the childish name calling!

It’s all a bit of a laugh isn’t it? Save for a very small minority I would say everyone is sound on here.

There are some topics that you just don’t read if you’re not interested in the argument. The topics generally cycle with clockwork frequency… you read them the first time and then ignore them as you know what’s going to be said. If those that post enjoy them… great. If you don’t enjoy it, start a thread about something you do enjoy talking about.

most people get a bit of gentle ribbing when they’re new on here and as they’ve been around a bit and known then it can get more pointed but it’s very rarely malicious. Most of the worst insults are between people who ride together fairly regularly.

the forum has seemed a bit more hostile recently, i blame binners and jamie.

I’d suggest that 90-95% of all forum content (the bitching stuff) is nothing more than the amygdala hijacking the higher brain. I’d also go as far as to say that folk’s ‘virtual personality’ is a mile from their everyday persona. My view of you is that you come on here to wind people up a bit because it’s a way of lettign off steam. Some things that might be ok to say when you’re out with your mates on a ride come across differently on here and, frankly, make you look like a bit of a nob. But, I realise that it’s more about the context of where and what you’ve said than any essential ‘nobness’ that you might have – you’re probably a bit of a laugh and a nice bloke.
