Sure – those things are all things that are the kind of things that are noteworthy or interesting to you. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a big deal to some Europeans and Americans. The more educated and literate and wealthy you are, the more you’re interested in it. But put yourself in the position of someone in the middle of Guyana or DR Congo or Pakistan or Vietnam…or even a fairly disengaged British person.
