At all know that everyone on here is a millionaire and money goes to money so it’s got to be an STW member. QED

I only ask, as I’m sure whomever it is, they are a much valued member of the forum and the place wouldn’t be the same without them… and I don’t mind saying that to WHOEVER won £177 million. Ahem.

If I won it, I’d pay a member of the proletariat to spell/grammar check me. 🙂

I don’t need to have anyone spellcheck me. And no, it wasn’t me, sadly.

I may dig out what I’m sure was a losing ticket and double check…..

Has anyone suddenly changed their stance on the IHT thread?

Dammit, another month that I’m only £10 up on those who play.

I tried to log onto the website to check on Wednesday morning but it kept saying “unable to log in now, please try again later”, presumably under the weight of half of Europe logging on to check!

Anyway I drove to work on Wednesday morning, phone doing the sat nav function tucked away out of reach and it kept pinging with incoming emails.

I was convinced that one of them must be the email telling me I’d won.

Got to work, checked my emails and it was a load of Black Friday offers and deals. 🙄

So I’m hoping it’s my sister who’s won and she’s just not told me yet.

Thing I can’t understand is that I’ve had loads of goes but I never seem to get any better at it.

That’s pretty much most things in life, in a nutshell

If it was me no one would really know.

Life is already very good and I do have another bike already on order 🙂

Well, we know he’s narrowed it down to a choice of two bikes with the first £4k…

That’s an obscene amount of money, but I (obviously!) wouldn’t turn it down.  I might even buy an ebike..
But why don’t they cap it at say £75m, have more winners and/or filter a bit more down?

I think we have that kind of thing on the UK Lotto, but the Euromillions is a Europe wide game so something to do with sovereignty….

Anyone gone quiet in the last couple of weeks?

“He was quite excited because there was a big woodland at the back he was into his mountain biking and that’s what sold it to him, apparently,”

There was a brief conversation at work about the jackpot yesterday, and it seems most of my colleagues would expect me to give them money if I won big like that.

I immediately decided that if they felt entitled to expect, I was entitled to refuse. I’m sure I can find more worthy causes.

You could buy them all. And still have the wrong one, according to the experts.

I read that and came here, saw this thread and expected it to be about that 🙂

I wonder if he did actually ride. It seems like in every other way he kept an extremely low profile. But I love the idea that he just couldn’t resist a few laps in the woods.

If I’d have just got four more numbers and the lucky stars, it would have been me. Close run thing, huh.

    I’d only spend it though.

If it was me… you’d never hear from me about it… but the photos from Sedona would be rolling it for a suspiciously long time…

    I won £2.40.

I’d be happy and retire from work with one million. Christ knows what I’d even do with £177 of the buggers. I’d like to think I could do some serious good with it. Just buy a house in the middle of nowhere with a bit of woodland. Leave enough so my immediate family can be comfortable and give away the rest.

As a true socialist, if I won £177m I’d share a huge amount locally

To be fair, it would be with the local hookers and cocaine dealers, but still

I won £2.40, or £2.60. Either way, the milky bars are on me.

I got about 12 quid 🙁 So no lazing on a yacht in Monaco in my immediate future. But I reckon I’d had my lifes luck already spent.

But best of to whomever did win it. Can now only hope it was a relative 🙂
