My working day now takes me in and around Oxford(shire) and the O2 reception is just awful anywhere green.

So – If you live there, which company have you found the most sucessful?

    Voda.

It’s the only one that works in our village in West Berks/South Oxon.

Vodafone for us. Still patchy, but at least mostly present.

My O2 signal can be nonexistent in the house but fine outside the door. We are in s. ox. And about 400yards from w. berks. I think there may be lead in the walls or something.

That’s it! I hide under the stairs until you all go off to bed and then sneak out to luxuriate in the warmth of your recently abandoned couch.

    Where are you actually?

I’m with Vodafone and it’s generally OK, but work phones have been O2 and Orange and they both struggle a bit (especially in and around Standlake).

This whole thing really annoys me though as why can I get near perfect signal half way up the alps while sat on a ski lift or on a remote Greek beach but not on the M25? 😡

This may well be the way to go. I’m in the market for a new phone too as my old Samsung is a bit of a duffer and is costing me £10 a month for a text bundle and expensive calls.
