Mines booked early Saturday – just wondering how people are reacting to this year’s jab, as Saturday is my only chance for a ride this week and Sunday is scheduled to be a day painting the kitchen.

It may not got down well if I get the ride in but can’t move my arm on Sunday 🤣

I didn’t react to last year’s jab, hoping that continues.

I had mine on Saturday. No reaction apart from a slightly sore arm – but I didn’t notice that until the Sunday night, about 36 hours after the jab.

Suspect I may have two sore arms after painting all day on Sunday…..

Mrs had her booster and flu jag in same arm yesterday, was rough all night, really sore arm too, but went into work, as her ward is so under staffed as it is.

If only it were that simple and we all reacted to jabs/medicines in identical ways.

I’ve never had a flu jab, was due to have one last year through work voucher, but cancelled day before because of stock shortage!

Given how both OxAZ Covid vaccine jabs hit me for six and required 2+ weeks off work (plus effectively messing up following annual leave) each time and borderline case to go to A&E after the first, losing chunks of cycling fitness each time, I’ll be doing my best to schedule mine 3+ weeks ahead of time off work.

Mum turned up for hers , but they’d run out (was booked and got didn’t anyone contact you?) so she has to wait to december now. Yeah brexit.

Had mine yesterday at work. slight bruised arm feeling but nothing else. Nothing like the 24 hours of AZ shivers.

Three out of four of us had ours last week. Eldest gets hers done at school but if its anything like previous years it will be spring before they get round to it. Going to send her to the local chemist to get it sorted.
No side effects from having ours

I was 50 last month and was called in for my first ever jab 2 weeks later as they had a clinic on that day.
Apart from a mild arm ache later that night it was trouble free. I was more upset by my newly acquired old bugger status

Had it a couple of weeks ago. Heard that local Boots were taking bookings 2-3 months ago, booked for the earliest I could find. Expected to pay but didn’t have to as I’m over 50.

    No reaction at all.

Had mine tuesday, first cell based rather than egg derived one, and no reaction really. Not sure if the source has any connection

I’ve never had any problems except a bit of pain to site itself. I’m booked for my Covid booster next week, I’ll probably get my flu one at the same time.

Had it last week. Just a dead arm a few hours after jab. Lasted until following morning.

No sweats, headache or chills which I’ve had from previous concoctions.

Did have diarrhoea* the next day but couldn’t find this listed as a side effect so just coincidental.

Mrs Lawman & I had ours yesterday – booked them a couple of weeks ago on the Lloyds Pharmacy website, and duly delivered in their outlet in the local supermarket. No hassle and no problems of note. I’ve had them intermittently (i.e most years but not all years) via work for quite a while, Mrs L’man hasn’t usually bothered until last year when everything was a bit weird* and we were all rather more infection-conscious anyway.
Neither of us is yet in the age range to be getting called for Covid boosters for a few more weeks, so we just got on with the flu jabs in the meantime.

    * Understatement…

I got my booster then flu jab on consecutive days. Slightly sore arms but nothing to worry about, it felt a bit liked I bumped into a doorframe.
The combination did make me feel a bit woozy though – it felt like I was thinking through fog for a day or so.

I can’t see the point in vaccinating against last year’s strain.
And yes, I’ve had flu; The worst two weeks of my life!
