Which rim would people reccomend? I’m 75kg kitted up, can’t fit a rear tyre bigger that 2.3(ish) and i ride in the peaks. No big drops or jumps, just like riding as fast as i can down rocky stuff. Cheers.

Go for an arch, its between those two.

I’ve used Olympic and Flow rims in the past but now run Arch rims.

They seem to be tough and reasonably light. There are occasions when I wonder if I should have gone for the lighter Crest rims but the strength of the Arch rims is reassuring.

I’m 85kg and ride Arches. Nice, light and stiff on a rigid 29er. Its was an effort getting tyres on though (2.4 ardent on front and 2.1 ignitor rear)

85kg using crests. Seem fine. I also have olympics for the XC race bike and I can feel them flex all over the place. I’m probably too heavy for them.

95kgs on 29er Arches. Nice and stiff. Really like them!
