I’m 75kg kitted up, can’t fit a rear tyre bigger that 2.3(ish) and i ride in the peaks. No big drops or jumps, just like riding as fast as i can down rocky stuff. Cheers. Posted 6 years ago radoggairMember crest if your racy. flow if your not Posted 6 years ago sambobMember cheers. Posted 6 years ago MSPSubscriber Go for an arch, its between those two. Posted 6 years ago neninjaMember I’ve used Olympic and Flow rims in the past but now run Arch rims. They seem to be tough and reasonably light. There are occasions when I wonder if I should have gone for the lighter Crest rims but the strength of the Arch rims is reassuring. Posted 6 years ago BenHouldsworthMember I’m 85kg and ride Arches. Nice, light and stiff on a rigid 29er. Its was an effort getting tyres on though (2.4 ardent on front and 2.1 ignitor rear) Posted 6 years ago DT78Member 85kg using crests. Seem fine. I also have olympics for the XC race bike and I can feel them flex all over the place. I’m probably too heavy for them. Posted 6 years ago AndySubscriber 95kgs on 29er Arches. Nice and stiff. Really like them! Posted 6 years ago Viewing 8 posts - 1 through 8 (of 8 total) The topic ‘Which stans rim?’ is closed to new replies.
