    …for my holiday cross bike.

Light, mainly slick but with some gravel/forest road capability, puncture resistance would be good too 😐

    What do you recommend?

    Continental travel contact.
Cheap, reliable, fast and never had a puncture with mine

I fitted some Schwalbe Marathon Dureme 622-42 foldings to my LHT..

they seem robust etc though hard to get – think they may have been discountinued – I got mine from one of the German sites as cheaper –

next replacement will be with Marathon Supremes as these are easier to get

Try Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour – Rose Bikes usually have them at a good price.

Teetosugars, where did you get your clement tyres from? I looked (not very hard) and couldn’t find any UK sales anywhere Thanks
edit I see SJS list them but have no stock I’ll persevere.

Marathon supreme tyres are worth a look too, near slick but surprisingly good on gravel and dirt for that type of tyre. Very hard wearing and not had a puncture in 2 years on them.
