I know most places are out of stock or charge a small fortune but does anybody have any idea where the best place to buy Olympic sized (ie 2inch dis hole) weight plates is? Ie in stock and is charging a sensible price?

    Thanks in advance

Not a hope at the moment. I buy my plates from strength shop.co.uk, but they’re out of everything.

Even secondhand gear is fetching strong money, check out the Facebook “Powerlifting Kit for Sale UK” and you might get lucky if you’re quick.

Check out perform better.co.uk As they tend to sell to trade rather thank public stock seems to be available for some plates etc.

Powerhouse Fitness has been getting regular stock, but it sells out fast.

I think they’re taking pre orders for plates now as everyone seems to have turned into a power lifter during lockdown.

My work mate was patient and eventually got a decent bundle, but to my amazement, he’s not got enough weight!
