I have four singlespeed bikes but have decided I need to swap out a couple of these at least for gears!

I need a road geared bike at £500 – £1000 and could possibly use cycle to work scheme when they re-launch soon at work.

I want a MTB but I am unsure what to get. I want something that is fairly useful and have always been attracted to steel but would rule out Alu. I have fully rigid bikes in the past but I think I need at least FS.

I am talking to (on here) someone selling a lava dome 2006 and also a klien altitude – are these good bikes?

any guidance or help would be appreciated 🙂

forgot to add I am also talking to someone about a rocky mountain blizzard. i would appreicate some guidance on price for the klien, Lava dome or the blizzard i.e. how much should I pay?

offered blizzard for £1200 or lava dome for £600…are these prices reasonable?
