  • Where are all the 27.5″ 120mm forks hiding these days?

Mrs Polisherman is after a pair of 27.5″ boost 120mm forks.
The options seem limited. 32 0r 34 stepcast would be ideal.
    Rockshox, it’s really only Reba’s,
    I’ve trawled t’internet and can only find 100mm 32 or 140mm 34’s

These illusive forks will be doing the Highland Trail 550, so they need to be light and reliable.

Oh, if only Mrs P had a 29er!!

A 34 can be lowered with a new air spring, X Fusion can be lowered without any extra parts

I’d probably get 29” 100-120mm forks instead – you can still run a 27.5 wheel in them and it makes you much more future proof.

This is worrying. I just bought a 27.5 frame needing 120mm forks. Had a new pair on it, but would like to keep this bike for many years yet. Sounding like it’ll beer obsolete within a few years or not many?!).

Actually, I have xFusion HLR forks, barely used, pretty much as new. They can be either 120 or 140 but I’ve a feeling 130 is going to be the sweet spot. If you’re interested in them I might well sell.
