  • when to wear the "away" kit and when not?
  • watching MOTD, why on earth do Liverpool feel the need to wear their away strip at Tottenham? Not like players in red could be mistaken for players in white.

ditto Leeds at Millwall the other week. Why wear a two tone blue kit when the first choice white, or perhaps the traditional yellow away strip, would be a better contrast to Millwall’s dark blue shirts?

not like anybody watches footie in black & white these days – “for the benefit of viewers watching in B&W, the brown ball is next to the blue”

    sorry Ben 😉

Does that apply to the national sides too?

Most of the time when England where the away kit there is just no need.
