I’m looking into getting some wheels built up, trouble is I want specific rims/hubs therefore I need 24h rims laced onto 36h hubs. I’ve been told this is possible however it requires two sizes of spokes and a pretty experienced builder. Is there anywhere, say 20 miles or so from Lichfield, capable of building a wheelset like this? Oh and if they have white spokes thats a bonus!

I’ve just done that very build for a customer’s 29er up here. It’s a ruddy nightmare but it is do-able.

Are the wheels road wheels or mountain bike wheels? It’s considerably easier with road wheels as one side of the wheel can be radially laced. Much harder on MTB wheels as you don’t want radial spokes with disc brakes.
