The one at 2:23 of the video below (should start at the right time)

I guess it’s a reamer of some sort, but not had any luck finding one.

you could do the same job with a file so not really worth while buying a specific tool

and to be honest having a sharp inner edge of a steerer tube is going to do no harm anyway.

resist the temptation to buy shit you dont really need lol

    Deburring tool

You can get them on ebay for £6, or £4.50 if you can wait from China.

They are really handy, faster than a file, also for deburring shallow blind holes that are a pain to file.

You can still get the triangular old school scrapers for deburring, but those swivel ones are cheap, handy and fast to use (if you have a use for them).

This is all 100% true, and I agree totally, and will buy it anyway.

Or become a machinist and get work to buy them for you 🙂 Must have about 20 different sizes & shapes in my toolbox..

Everyone should have one of these. Even if you just get a bit of scrap tubing. It’s perhaps the single most satisfying tool I ever get to use.

One of these is way faster:

And have the added advantage of looking somewhat amusing when they wear….

You can get an internal/external pipe deburrer as well. (forgot about them, need to go add it to the ebay shopping basket) Has internal/extrernal blades so it can put a nice chamfer on the outside as well, who needs files when you can file another drawer with useful crap.
