It’s actually $37 on Amazon but shipping taxes & brexit/Amazon’s shitty exchange rate brings it to £46

I’d struggle to tell you which CD album was the last one I bought or how much I paid for it, nevermind which album I paid the most for. Pretty sure it was under £15.

What little music I listen to at home is now exclusively played from the interweb, streaming has replaced physical media for us, so much so the Blu ray/CD player is still in the old pc base unit that got replaced ~5+ years ago.

Does that mean Nirvana was the most expensive CD you bought?

As it happens, I do have that album (Nervermind) somewhere from my days of yoof… But no, I could not categorically state which album in my old collection cost me the most, but being an honorary Scot I very much doubt I ever paid more than 15 squids for a single album. 😉

I don’t imagine they’ll top the lenticular image of the San Andreas going down from ænima. Looking forward to hearing the regular version of the cd at a reasonable price, although it appears the mp3 version is 10mins longer.

Ugly Duckling’s Taste the Secret album, £26 for the import and worth every penny.

£7/10s for the Woodstock live triple gatefold the day it came out in 1969 or so. Listened to it until it wore out. That was a week’s wages.

I paid 30 quid for the last Clutch album, clear vinyl with a sticker included signed by the band. I like vinyl but 30 quid is as steep as I’ll go for limited edition whatever, 20 quid is probably closer to the norm.

I think I paid ~£20 for Neil Young’s Eldorado ep back when it was available as a japanese import (late 80’s sometime?)…

Just bought a split prophets ep for £40 (limited 60 pressing).

I sold a digital mystikz 12″ on eBay for £100 but it got damaged in transit and was returned for a refund. Now have 3 pieces of vinyl that are worth £300 in today’s market if in one piece!

A Tool fan here. Lateralus on vinyl is probably my most expensive purchase- can’t remember exactly but it was upwards of £50. Will probably get their new one on vinyl too.
