    Totally random but STW is often the fount of all obscure knowledge…

    Making a curry for tea, fresh bulb of garlic ready to go, peeled the first clove and it came out sort of orange and translucent, like some kind of small garlicky slug thing. Smells alright, and the cloves either side of it look perfectly normal, so what’s happened to this one? Never seen it like that before…

    Nope, not smoked. And literally just a single clove, those either side were normal (and very tasty in my chicken karahi, I hasten to add)
