Got Endura ‘thermal’ socks which aren’t much cop as I had cold feet on yesterday’s ride.
Need to be thin though and shoes will be too tight otherwise! Cheers

Don’t think you are going to find anything of comparable thickness to the Endura Thermolites that are any warmer. I actually really rate them down to low single figures.
Woolie Boolies are significantly warmer, but also significantly thicker.
Maybe what you need is overshoes?

I’m not a big fan of merino generally but I find the Endura Baa Baa merino socks to be pretty much ideal.

Of course the answer is to get larger shoes/boots but you’re already aware of that.

If merino then it has to be woolie boolie though

What are you wearing on your legs? I find warmer legs=much warmer feet

I have Shimano AM41 spd shoes for most of the year but can only get thin socks in those – too snug for the Enduras. I do actually have Northwave Celsius Goretex boots that I use when it’s proper winter p*ssing down/freezing – I can use much thicker socks then – I use them on the MTB and swap the spd pedals onto the road bike too. I also have some Shimano road shoes which I used yesterday as I didn’t think it would be very cold out…but it bloody was! The fact that they have a mesh upper toes area didn’t help mind 😳
Just wondered if there was a thinnish warm sock that meant I didn’t have to ‘boot up’ yet.
I wear long bibs when it’s cold on the roadie but wear baggies pretty much all year round unless it’s REALLY cold – then I’ll shove some leg warmers underneath.

This. Works well enough to keep my Raynaud’s at bay in most cold conditions.
