    Just about to head off to the plumbers merchant to get o rings to fit as a travel indicator for my Reba Teams. Anyone know what size I should be looking for.

    gonna be 32mm id innit.

    a cable-tie not good enough?

    a 32 ID would just drop down probably with little enouragement. Assuming 32mm stanchions, I’d go for a 30ish ID. a couple-ish mm section would be fine.

    cable tie’s look gash & have more chance of scratching the stanchion.

    do people really worry this much? 😆

    obviously you will have to take forks apart to get the ring on the stanchions…

    cable ties are fine. fit set sag etc then cut off or slide right to the top out of the way for the next time you set the forks

    haha what?? how soft are your stanchions?

    As rootes says, it should just be a temporary thing. Once setup properly you bin it and you’ll get all the feedback you need when you bottom out
