I want some something cheap and reflective to wear over my biking gear. Something like the reflective sam brown belt you see people wearing on motorcycles.

What’s the reflective accoutrement of choice?

Ankle bands are one of the most effective things. The movement is so obviously a cyclist. Work from all angles as well.

    Other than that. Good lights.

Why not just use a Sam Brown belt, like the ones you see people wearing on mototcycles?
Although something on your ankle like danti suggests is good because the movement attracts the eye of other road users.

A chap who commutes into the estate I work in has one of these proviz jackets. They seem to work quite well.

Ankle band and spoke reflectors, the latter are brilliant, really standout. Neither are expensive.

You can get a couple of meters of iron-on reflective tape from that there fleabay/amazon for a couple of quid and it’s quite effective if placed appropriately…
