Looking for a recommendation for a new station as Dave Berry doesn’t float my boat.

Don’t want a heavy news or sports station and probably not local radio (live in Leeds).  And I am too old for Radio 1 and Capital.

Internet streaming OK? KCRW Eclectic 24 is my usual go-to.

JackFM Oxford. Occasional Oxfordshire news and travel, but the morning show (“Jack’s Morning Glory”) is great.

They don’t do requests or shout outs either.

Not the same since whats his name left for Australia is it?

Still better than the dross R1 puts out, although Marvin on Kiss is pretty funny.

Christian leaving for Aus led to a month’s mourning in our household. Berry isn’t the same and I’m no fan of Matt Dyson.

Not found anything better though I hear Lauren Laverne is taking over the 6 music breakfast show soon although only starting at 7:30am

Moyles is on XFM, which has a similar if slightly “younger” playlist.

    (not a recommendation)

Radio 3 is the best way to wake up.

    Come back Christian …..

Station needs to be DAB for alarm clock.

Will give the suggestions a try next week.

all the Absolute DJs are bullshit – Frank Skinner and his sycophantic crew, Jason Manford, Dave Berry.

I love the 90s and Classic Rock shows in spite of those DJs though.

Union Jack is worth a listen.    Light on news, but of humour and great music.   DAB only though.
