What radio station do you have on?
Not necessarily right now, but what do you use for audio wallpaper?
I’m a five live “listener” during daylight hours (England test matches excepted)and the absolute 80’s of an evening.
Don’t feel the new to justify it our choice of listening – just let it out, you know you’ll feel better.Posted 4 years ago
In a belated attempt to justify it, A80’s just segwayed(sp. no replacements found) from bananananannanarama to the Thompson twins! Quality.CaptJonMember
edit: typing this out i realised i have a quite a routine.
Assuming i have nothing to interrupt it, i’d listen to stuff all day:
Radio 4 when i wake up and check news/email on laptopPosted 4 years ago
Radio 1 once i’m up (sooner if a politician is the 8.10 interview)
Then itunes or soundcloud in the morning.
Radio 4 for World at One
Afternoon – TMS at the moment. Never Richard Bacon, who is sounding more like Alan Partridge everyday
A bit of PM at 5
Then maybe a podcast while cooking dinner.
Evening is either 5live for sport or radio 1 or itunes/SoundcloudbutcherMember
Nearly always Radio 4. It’s dull as dishwater much of the time, but every so often they’ll have something really fascinating, usually about 5 past 9 when I’m supposed to be in work…
I think the main reason I listen to it is because I simply can’t stand listening to the same pop music, over, and over, and over…
Radio 2 is probably my most hated at the moment.
Radio 1 is sometimes actually OK, in that they do occasionally play interesting stuff you’ve never heard before, but perhaps that’s a sign of my age!!
When I worked in a job where we had the Radio on all day, I wanted to murder people. The repetition isn’t something I tolerate well.Posted 4 years agozippykonaSubscriber
Week days. 6 if that **** keavney is away at breakfast.Posted 4 years ago
At the shop radio 2 til they start arguing at lunch time.
Then The Arrow til they play poodle rock when we switch to Smooth 70s.
At 2 its back to Radio 2 until home time when its 6 again.
If I’m at home its 6 all day.crashtestmonkeyMember
5live despite not being into footie or cricket, and I dont listen to the rabid rant phone-ins early morning or late evening. Got sick of the limited playlists and repetition on music radio and haven’t tuned a radio to a music station in about 10 years. Other half listens to R.1 so I am occasionally subjected to it and this

is spoiled by this
The repetition isn’t something I tolerate well.
So any new/interesting stuff is flogged to death. I was too old for R.1 when I was within their demographic, theres no hope for me now Im over 40…Posted 4 years ago
