    Lol!

Be honest OP, how long is your beard. Once you grow out of the designer stubble stage it ceases to itch.

    Itching you or somebody else?

I bought some beard oil, it immediately transformed my itchy beard into a oily itchy beard.

I’ve never been happier to shave in my life.

About 7mm avg, its difficult to measure with a steel tape measure. I’m in week 3. I have found that from about week 3-7 its gets very annoying.

Someone else more than me, but it’s me i’m concerned about!

    A razor

Just used one on my head again so I need a beard to complement it.

    The itching does pass.

In the meantime I found Brisk Beard Shampoo to be very effective. Leaves a nice smell too.

Well let it grow to the lost in the wild stage then trim it back. That is why beards are the preserve of those who can not those who complain 😉

One of those exfoliating net type things and scrub it with shower gel, then conditioner for a few minutes. I keep mine short, and use nivea soft cream instead of beard oil.

I just nourish mine. Last night I nourished it with spaghetti carbonara. Tomato soup is particularly good but a good banjo egg bap tops the lot.

    Thanks Nobeerinthefridge

When i’m your age mikewsmith I might have lost all feeling to and not notice it to complain.

I find adding fertiliser like that just makes it worse, tonight it has some mousaka in it, I think it’s allergic to aubergene.

The name mikewsmith conjurs an image of a leathery trail beast riding a rigid fixie with a beard down to his naval!

My 6yo has been scratchiing it with a back scratcher to help out!

Beards stop itching when you grow through it, it’s a transient phase.

Dead skin makes your beard itch. Exfoliate with a nail brush, use moisturiser and FFS don’t use shampoo, conditioner or oil. Balm or a dry conditioner is the way forward.

    Just re-read, 7mm? That’s stubble. Tis not a beard 😀

    Unleaded petrol. Rub well in.

    Ignite.

Kills all the nits and fleas, and nicely toasts any remaining bread crumbs for later consumption.

You’ll never have a beard problem again.

@mikewsmith ..that beer looks ace..not only does it change the colour of your beard ..make it grow at an extraordinary rate ..but by all accounts enables you to grow additional limbs if the bloke standing behind you in the first pic is anything to go by ..

I’m assuming it’s an Australian brew ..is it available in the UK ..?

    Exfoliate with a nail brush

I was thinking of using a wood rasp

    use moisturiser

I’m not falling for that one, look what happened when I asked about itchy beards!

Nope. Why? Is washing considered unmanly now?

Bulldog Beard Balm helps here. I sometimes use oil too as mine really is an unruly little beastie.

Soap works for me whilst washing my face.
