  • What price for a supply/fit of an unvented pressurised hot water tank?

I think I am being charged ‘Harrogate Tax’ here because I think it’s very steep.

It’s a 210ltr tank and will be sited next to the boiler (which isn’t moving) in the garage (the existing conventional tank is in the main bathroom on the first floor) so there will be new pipework required to link it up to the existing system. The existing boiler is a relatively new WB and doesn’t need any attention.

So – price range costs people please….

    Max £400 plus materials.

    £400 labour you mean?

    Yes, plus VAT of course.

Unless there are particular difficulties at the property, routing / connecting the new tank to the existing HW pipe system.

    How much was the quote?

£2150 including supply of tank and pipework.

    I was expecting around £1400.

Ohh, and he knows the system – he installed the original system for the old couple that lived here before us.
