Went through Stretton Grandison today, on the a417 north of Gloucester.

Used to cycle Sheffield to Gringley-On-The-Hill to play for Gringley Celtic 5-a-side team.

The closest I get nowadays is Dollar, although I’m not sure if that’s posh or Gangsta.

An old route I used to do would take me through Askham Richard. Sounds posher than it is.

    Hollow Meadows.

It’s a farm and two houses. And a major A road.

It’s in the central belt of Scotland. Lovely place.

Great Budworth and Little Bollington feature on my regular rides.

I go through Baarle Nassau on some of my road rides which sounds quite posh when most of the places round here translate to ‘pig town’ or similar, the best thing about it is you go from Holland to Belgium about 10 times in 1km.

Same as Brengate, and Peover Superior, Sandiway,..
There’s loads of posh spots near here to be fair.

Mind, some absolute shite holes too..

Ayott st Peter and Ayott st Laurence, both quaint little halmets and prime candidates for an overly elaborate murder mystery.

Studley Royal has to take some beating, even though it’s not a village or town.
Studley Roger is a small village though. 🙂

Mottram St Andrew. As ‘posh’ as it sounds, being in the locale of Alderley Edge and all.

On the other hand, how’s about Flash? It isn’t.

    Your mother!

Apparently when the sewerage pipes were laid the Harcourt side wanted their own separate system so their “doings” wouldn’t be sullied by the inferior poop of Beauchamp 🙂

Also, there’s different entrances to the church depending on how self-important you are 🙂

Hatch Beauchamp. Must be a bit posh because it’s not pronounced the way it’s spelled. Loads of posh sounding villages in Somerset, most of which aren’t all that posh.
