There is an arrow between the ‘E’ and the ‘x’. I think that’s what makes it special anyway 🙂

I’ve been Involved with print and design for years, and always look at logos to try to find the ‘message’ hidden in it, but I’ve never noticed that before. So simple, yet so clever, as all the best logos are.

no it was all planned, and supposedly pretty hard to work in effectively without it being really overbearingly obvious. there’s a pretty interesting article somewhere on the global hyperweb about it, if you like that sort of thing!

I don’t think it special or good. I think the arrow is likely serendipity. There’s far better logos imo.

I have always admired it greatly.

I also like the Center Parcs logo

As it does a similar thing – they are two leaves but also a bird in fight. Beautiful. (but the typeface needs taking outside and putting down humanely)..

Pity they can’t spell….
