    One of the best ideas I had for packed lunches for my twins was to get a couple of wide mouthed steel thermos flasks. They loved various things such as red soup, ‘big soup’, pasta, macaroni cheese and curry/rice.
    They also had the usual wraps/sandwiches, etc but I tried to mix it up a bit.
    They’re at big school now and packed lunches are not allowed thankfully – saves me a load of time every morning.

    Leftover pizza, some kind of processed cheese in a packet, Mars Bar, Coke.

    No, but seriously, he has an organic cabbage leaf wrap with a healthy seed, nut and mackerel mix, complete with a yummy tofu bar and pureed (organic) vegetable juice. If it’s a special day he can have extra beansprouts in his wrap. I pity his mates with their ‘sandwiches’ and ordinary fruit juice.

    Son (~20 months now but still has two meals at school) today had;

    for morning snack

    orange and pineapple in bite size chunks

    for lunch

    cold noodles with veggies
    home made chicken goujons
    broccoli and potato mash
    banana fritter

    become an ex-pat and just ask your maid to make something different every day 🙂

    FWIW, I had the same as he did, just a bigger portion!
