I’ve bought a few items following recommendations on here. Most recently an Olight i3E single AAA torch that was recommended on a thread. At the time it was an impulse purchase, but it’s proved surprisingly useful.

What have you bought following recommendations by by other STWers on the Forum?
Was it something you needed or did you just have to have it when you saw it?
Was it any good?

A pair of Blundstone boots. I used to wear approach shoes for work and play, but had soggy feet daily. I saw a review (I think) on work boots on here and read about the Blunnie’s.
They’re great, warm, comfortable and most importantly dry.Once clean and buffed up, they’re good enough for most socially distanced social events too.

I bought a black pudding that was recommended on here, it was horrible.
