    After having to put up with some insipid american tinkerbell time message on the speaking clock we’ve now got someone doing it for comic relief, who next. Can’t we have a proper voice back that you can actually understand or does that not bring in enough cash !!!!

    Not sure why anyone uses the speaking clock now that we have Teletext 🙂

    You must be fairly well removed from technology to need the speaking clock nowadays. Most mobile phones can be tied to the provider clock, it’s on the internet for free, teletext does it and freeview gives it you.

    Costs 17p to call the talking clock. I have a £2 clock that does the same job.
