That was great.

His riding has definitely evolved over the years, there are less obvious big moves, he seems to be moving away from the crazy gaps and drops he did a few years ago to more technical and imaginative stuff.

Slack line to slack line was just mental, then he topped it with bouncing around on the parallel bars.

Great fun that. Some of the stuff he does is just amazing.

Turns out that you do.

I dunno, I liked the older videos where the music was more “built in”- the Inspired Bicycles vid wouldn’t have had half the impact without that Band of Horses song (the flare off the tree makes me want to rock out every time) and the Jezebels one in Long Way Home was just perfect, so breathless. Whereas this and the one with the Divine Comedy are more or less just background music.

I know there must be quite a few takes, plenty of spills but compared to watching the olympic gymnastics as a kid it was so boring whereas Danny is skilled and entertaining. The floor routine is certainly skilled and have to be very fit but a wee bit tedious and worthy of an Olympic sport?

Shared it to my daughter’s gymnastics club 😄

Also a fan of the trick with the weights – subtle but incredibly difficult to get right, I would imagine

Bike stunting?
Trials in sparkly lycra?
