    Lancashire Peeler all the way. They get better with use, wearing to suit the peeler’s style. And you can sharpen them on a whet stone…

    That’s not a Lancashire peeler, that’s a modern plastic pretender look-alike.

    The one I have, I inherited from my gran, I think it dates from the late Jurassic. She was going to throw it away because it was blunt, so it had already had a full life when it came to me. I’m left-handed, so hey, brand new blade.
