Got a new bike coming tomorrow, that has boxxer forks.

It seems that they tend to be a bit low on oil and need greasing up as they come from the factory. So is standard white grease ok, or should some kind of special grease be used? I will be changing the spring anyway, so shouldn’t be a major pain, to do.

They’re all similar, really thin grease, works well under pressure and really low friction. Pack out the space between the seals with any of them and the forks will be plusher than a silk hemorrhoid cushion.

I’d not use normal grease. If you can’t get hold of anything like those above then just put some suspension oil in the lowers as per the manual and soak the foam rings.
