What Full sus frame?
I’m thinking about getting a full-sus frame. I’d be transferring the parts from my HT on it. 140mm forks and I like going up hills as well as down. I cant afford anything exotic and I’ll probably be looking at second hand. I know nowt about these sort of bikes, I’m just looking for a bit more comfort in my old age, some cushioning going down rocky descents would be nice.

I got a Kona Dawg 2007 full susp frame with rear shock for £110 posted 2nd hand about 2 months ago. I thought that was a pretty good deal considering its good condition. Got it from pinkbike.com sellers forum there seems to be some good deals on there on occasion just a case of keeping an eye on it. Never underestimate how desperate someone is to sell, dont be afraid to make a cheeky offer they can only say no! As always make sure you cover yourself by either collecting yourself or paying via standard paypal not paypal gift. Dont forget to narrow the search down to the UK only forum as its an international site so no point negotiateing for a frame in America!Posted 5 years agoAlexSimonSubscriber
A friend got a second hand Turner 5-Spot DW-Link for around £500 in the summer.
Fantastic all-round good-pedalling bike.
Having a completely new shock would tempt me towards those Titus bikes though. I can’t imagine the Carbon will remain that price for long, but it’s possible the aluminium ones will.
Just to give you an idea of what’s available (I’m not recommending any particular deal, just the type of frame), here’s a few from ebay right now:
Cannondale RZ ONE TWENTY, Trek EX, and lots more are also worth keeping an eye out for too. Lots and lots of great bikes around.Posted 5 years agogonzyMember

Is that flatout cycles legit? Seems very cheap.
I know people who have used them for brakes and stuff.
Read the description carefully, a lot of stuff is used, and the rest is old stock.
Having said that it’s all cleaned and inspected, and seems to come with some sort of warranty.
