Looking to buy one for my brother, nothing fancy, just for walking. Looking to spend no more than £15.

Yes it seems to fit the bill (especially with coloured lights for nighttime map reading which he will find useful)

Happy LED Lenser H7 user here. But then not what I’d class as cheap, others may disagree, I think £1k MTB’s are expsnsive.

Fenix do a good one for £45, if you can stretch a bit firther, about 150 lumens, IIRC.
