Torn between my Radon Slide 8.0 enduro sled 😆 or my 29er hardtail. Going to Kleinwalstertal, Austria and the trails look a bit fireroadish.
New van means I might be able to take both though…

This bad boy! Might be unfashionable with 26″ wheels but I love it.

Neither – we do our own thing these days – been going for the last 4 years so know most of the off-piste stuff, although going to try and find a few more this year.

Staying with WhiteBeams in their chalet in Nancroix, the guys who run it know all of the unofficial stuff so they usually help us out.

    We’re going 6th – 13th August.

    You?

Philstone – is it easy to find La Varda from the top of TransArc?

Hmmm.. Ish.. hahaha – once you’ve done it it’s easy enough, basically you have to ride down slightly then hike up and over to the lake – can’t remember the name right now but will dig it out. I may have a gpx of it from last year.

Not sure if we’ll do it this year – they clamped down on it pretty hard halfway through the season last year.. Which is a real shame!

And maybe a 160 airshaft in the fork if it arrives in time for my first of two trips this year in a few weeks.

Here you go – this is from the top of the Transarc – the satellite went a bit mental but you get the gist..

Look at welshfarmers post on that Les Arcs thread – it’s on the French single track site link, they have another name for it.

If I remember correctly it’s going to be allowed for bikes again this year after officially it was out of bounds (due to risk of death I assume 🙂 )
