I have not had the chance to try the latest XTR cranks with a bashguard, does anyone know if there any issues when trying to fit one?

I'm running an E13 on mine with no issues.

Due to the 'chunky' hollow spider, IMO thin bashguards look a bit odd, as do ones that have cut outs rather than a complete inner circle, if you get my drift.

MRP carbon on mine is fine.

Straitline one in titanium colour looks the nuts on my Ti 456, red Gamut one looks great on my white Slopestyle. Gamut one required a bit of filing to fit.
Main issue for me is I want to run 24/36 with a bash rather than 22/32 which means running non-XTR rings = heavier.

You would really feel the difference in weight? 😐

Just get this for your XTR and man up 😉

E13 DRS on XTR and no issues at all. That's the M970's.

Cut the teeth off the largest ring and use it as a bash?

I did this with my XT, but did obviously use a knackered ring.
