    Morning all

I bought an Avengers Glow in the Dark Backpack from Argos a couple of weeks back for young master Beamers.

    He loved it.

Tragedy has now struck with the breaking of the zip so its going back to Argos for a refund. Buy cheep, buy twice.

Any suggestions for a “proper” backpack?

Its going to get used for school and exploring duties.

    Ta in advance.

    this one

My 4 yr old uses this – not sure if available in the UK but possibly in Cotswolds

a 12L version is also available

Its very popular in Norway for a reason – good price and good quality

Pop into mountain warehouse and take your pick..they often have nice ones there for kids.. Got my 7 year old a ‘plain’ (as in, not covered in logos etc) one with a skateboard clip on the rear, and 2 web pockets for bottles – was about a tenner.

Sports Direct (spit) Karrimor ones seem relatively well made for the price, I’ve had one that’s done family day out and holiday duties for a few years now.

Or if you have one near you, Decathlon Quechua brand in various sizes for different needs

As mentioned above Decathlon is always my default for good value kids kit that works, we’ve got 2 of these and they’re pretty good so far + have a 10 year guarantee:

    For £6 I don’t think you can go wrong…
