The best secondhand one you can find if you’re intending serious off road use.

£500 new? How about Voodoo Hoodoo. It’s even got gears so you don’t need to grow a beard.

Personally I’d be looking on eBay for that kind of dosh…

Islabikes adult sized 29er

It even ticks some of the stw niche boxes too.

Though I`d be looking at a secondhand Scandal 29er off the classifieds for this money.

Or this GT 29er but medium only though I think they have a later model in other sizes for a bit more.

They also have a very good deal on a Zaskar 9er if you can stretch the budget!

Over budget at £599 but the charge 29ers look good enough to save a bit m ore, ss rigid looks especially nice.

Trek marlin ss. Then add bits. I think its the same frame as some of the higher spec builds.

If you fancy an SS rigid I know someone selling a singular Swift for a little over budget that I’m considdering to do a frame swap for mine, so I’ll end up with a medium frame and a load of bits. Would be about £650 though.
