Either ready built or as a project? Looking for something cheap and cheerful for a play.
    What you got?

Either a Hubsan X4 or a Walkera Ladybird ( prob best to get the Ladybird without the video camera, as it makes it rather heavy and prone to dropping like a stone ) would be good to play with and get a feel for flying them.

Oh, and buy a bunch of spares and spare batteries for whatever you decide to get – it’ll extend your playtime.

Depends what sort of money you are willing to spend, or if you just want something small to fly in the garden compared to something bigger than will carry a gopro etc

DJI have just brought out a new Lite version of their Naza controller, those are amazingly stable without lots of setup.

Have got the F450 which is brilliant.

Made this using a gorpo the other week.

I second the Hubsan. Easy to fly, cheap, (and so far) bombproof.

    Definitely not Sister-in-law proof though.

“Oh I didn’t know that you had to bring it back down again” as it nudged past the International Space Station. 😯

I’ll sell you my Twister is you want? Perfect condition.

    £43 retail, yours for £28 inc P&P.
I’ve got several others now. 😉 Otherwise, another vote for the Hubsan X4, they’re ace.

Warning, it might get expensive, but you did need an autopilot didn’t you?
