Heading over to the inlaws this weekend, so hopefully going to do the obvious thing & go out for a ride.
Anyone live out that way & is up for 2-3 hours on saturday morning?

Last time I went out through Guilsfield, Llanfyllin, round Vyrnwy & back. Nice ride just wondered where the locals go!

if you fancy some climbing and remoteness try looping inbetween the a458 and a470 towards mach.

you could loop Bala in after Vrynwy.

Or head east montgomery-church stoke- bishops castle- church stretton
then up the burway and over the mynd, then over the stipers (cake stop at the bog) then over Long Mountain (21% on the down welshpool side)

Good plan, might pull in Bala as well if I head that way, or go exploring out towards Mach as you say. I’ve never ridden out that way so might go for a look.
