Local exploration. Highlight was standing motionless (for what seemed like an eternity) as a male Hen Harrier hunted just above the long grass – coming within 50 ft of us. Wow!

An early start on Saturday morning for a pootle down the valley to forage for breakfast ingredients, which were then cooked up when I got home 😀

Somewhat menacing combo of sign and mannequin!

Did you get any ‘special stuff’ for breakfast?

I managed to get over to the Lakes for Friday. Gorgeous conditions.

It wasn’t so bright and sunny by the time all the day’s chores had been done on Sunday evening. Still spring though, as the daffs prove

Long weekend for me so still counting this. First time at a trail centre since before the storms, good to see them open and dry today
