Some nice pottery? We got a lovely salad bowl and water jugs recently.

    I had this problem recently

What I did in the end was made them a bird table by hand, including pyrographing a little message on the sides. Was really pleased with how it turned out, much nicer than a bought one

I also bought some bird feeders and bird food (fat balls, nuts etc) to go with it, then took it their home after the wedding and assembled it for them. I almost bought some binoculars and a bird book to go with it

Do they have a list? If so get something from that, as it’s something they actually want. When I got married, first time round, we got a fair bit of unwanted crap to clutter up the house.

If not, then obviously a power kite is the right answer.

Following on from this I also made wooden troughs for my family as an xmas present last year, again including pyrographing

    I might branch out!

@benp1 – that sounds like a great gift. I don’t have the skills unfortunately though

    Hi y’all

Been thinking for a while but struggling to find the right wedding gift for a friend. I have known him (plus fiance) for a long time. Was thinking some tasteful glassware perhaps, or some art? I have a reasonable understanding of their tastes (I think) but thought I’d open it to suggestions… Happy to consider other left field suggestions too. Budget probably £100-200

    Thanks in advance…
