Did a search and saw others had recommended the wayfarer route on the berwyn mountains.
Any other natural options nearby? (Doing trail centres another day) looking at the forecast a weatherproof route is essential.

I don’t know anything around the area but typing Bala in on the search and setting the distance from Bala at 15km brings up a few routes. Make sure to tick MTB

The LakeVyrnwy one Here is a classic little blast, although there was a fair bit of forestry work going on in the forest around point 13 last time I did it.
