    You know the score.
    Ride your bike.
    Take some pics.
Post them up with a few words.

Rip round this morning with Mrsstu.
1100 meters and the temperature almost reached double figures at one point.

    Wardell Way?

Positively tropical yesterday, sadly I wasn’t riding my bike…

We’ve just driven from West Yorkshire down to Kent via Windsor then back again via Essex and Newark, the amount of new, hopefully temporary wetlands is staggering!

Warmish after work Friday ride. Pushed for time so only a quick 15k round the woods and photos came out a bit rubbish today. Balanced out by the fact I was out riding a bike in the woods.

We went out local before the rain turned up. Trails were in a better state than I thought they were going to be.

I’ve not ridden my bike this weekend, but I have just monstered my first ever Teeside Parmo, and feel like I need to undo my top trouser button. Compounded by the fact I’ve not ridden my bike this weekend. It’s a circular paradox.

    No photos either.

Filth here too, so out on the gravel bike again. Lesser known (for me) bike paths and canal towpath to the east of Leeds. No big hills, but about 70Km and still just under 800m climbing.

Sun came out at the end, which was nice 👍

Slightly hungover Hebden ride, cut short sadly due to an issue with the bike, still ace to be out though.

Bit of a traffic jam down Ernies

Filthy Gravel ride around Farleton Knott and Arnside. A bit too muddy TBH.  🙄

After a week off the bike due to cold/flu* went out for a couple of hours later this afternoon on the MTB.

Still absolutely filthy but it wasn’t raining and the sun even made an appearance.

    * Fun fact. I went out on the road bike for the first time in literally years, last Sunday. Come Monday the awful cold / flu had hit. Last time I used the road bike was about 2-3 years prior, after which I had COVID. Clearly road cycling is bad for me 😄.

Usual Sunday morning binned off due to wet skies. Switched to Sunday afternoon instead once skies were dry. Ground not so much so… Getting a stubbornly non-sealing front flat 12km from home added to the fun, especially when I realised my Keg was on the other bike and the only tool I had on me was a tiny Lezyne pump. Cue a few sweary stops on the way home to try and keep things inflated.

No pics from me, imagine miles of waterlogged fields from York to Donny on the TPT. Cancelled train northbound and two punctures meant I did the last ten miles or so in the very dark. Grateful for the headtorch I keep with the toolkit in the saddlebag. 50 miles.

Warm and sunny(ish) down south on Sunday, but the ground was mostly waterlogged slop. Nice to be out though whatever.

    Nice pix.

What camera are you using or what effect ? Especially on the B&W.

    🙂
